📍 Papa Lee's Taiwan Noodle & Dumplings Review

While craving Asian food in Bali, I visited Papa Lee's Taiwan Noodle & Dumplings. The sign read "Taiwanese Restaurant," suggesting it was frequented by more Taiwanese customers than locals. The clean and simple interior gave it the feel of a local diner. True to its name, the menu focused on noodles and dim sum, but also featured common Taiwanese dishes like beef noodle soup, dan dan noodles, dumplings, and xiao long bao. I ordered the beef noodle soup and shrimp dumplings. The broth was rich and flavorful, and the meat was tender and well-cooked. 🍜 The dumplings were filling and satisfying, paired with soy sauce. While the portions were generous, one bowl was filling enough, and the xiao long bao I ordered as a side was also quite juicy, offering a truly authentic taste. The prices are a bit higher than local worungs in Bali, but considering the authentic Taiwanese cuisine, they're reasonable, and the quality of the food is justified. The staff were friendly, and they spoke both Chinese and English, so ordering was easy. If you're craving a different Asian flavor after only eating Indonesian food in Bali, or if you're looking to enjoy Taiwanese noodles and dim sum, this is a great option.
