Tranquil Retreat in Sebatu

A cozy resort tucked away in the peaceful hills of Sebatu has all the essentials for relaxation and unwinding. My room was impeccably clean, generously sized, and well equipped, though a bit more storage would be useful for a couple. The view from the balcony was calming. The team, from reception to restaurant staff and room attendants, were courteous and attentive without being intrusive. Wonderful people. The restaurant boasts a calming view and consistently served delicious meals that were beautifully presented. While the portion sizes are modest, they are sufficiently filling due to the multiple dishes offered with all meals. I dined there almost exclusively and had no issues with "Bali Belly". The resort provides a complimentary guided morning walk through Sebatu. Definitely worth it. A short stroll leads you to Pura Gunung Kawi Sebatu Temple. For a longer walk, about 20-30 minutes, you can visit the Holy Water Spring (Melukat Sebatu) or Ulu Petan Waterfall. Both are worth seeing, and you will experience Sebatu's daily life along the way. Absolutely worth considering if you seek to just chill and unwind.
