Sanur in Bali had a different atmosphere than other places.
It looked similar to Seminyak on the outside, but it was a quiet area with many Western long-term travelers, without noisy clubs or rough waves like Kuta. That's probably why most of the accommodations had swimming pools inside. I think I did more window shopping in Sanur, located in eastern Bali, than anywhere else. It was nice that there were no people, the prices were cheaper than in famous tourist destinations, and there were a lot of things I liked. Here in Sanur, you can also go on a day hopping tour to Lembongan Island, which is only 30 minutes from Bali. If you don't have enough time to go to Gili Island, it might be a good idea to go to Lembongan Island. There is a famous Le Mayor Museum in Sanur, which was quiet and worth a visit. Inside, there are paintings of my wife and furniture from that time. It is a very small museum managed by the government.
