Yangdong Folk Village

Yangdong Folk Village is a place where history and nature coexist harmoniously. The old traditional houses are arranged along the mountain slopes, making the entire village feel like a massive cultural heritage site. I joined a guided tour, and learning about the history and stories of each house helped me understand the lives of the noble families during the Joseon Dynasty. Additionally, the mountains and fields surrounding the village blend beautifully with the traditional Korean houses, creating picturesque scenery throughout the walk. Sitting in the courtyard of a traditional house, feeling the breeze and taking a moment to rest, was truly special. Yangdong Folk Village is not just a place to observe the past; it is a living village where traditions continue to thrive.
