A relaxing spot in Luang Prabang! Kuang Si Waterfall

Kuang Si Falls is located in the mountains about 30km from the center of Luang Prabang.

To get there, you can either 🚌 join a local tour, 🚍 take a shared ride in a soutaeu, or 🛵 go by motorbike on your own.

I thought about going by motorbike, but I heard that the road was quite gravel, so I joined a local tour 🚌

Some local tours also include other waterfalls and activities, but I only went to Kuang Si Falls.

By the way, you can pay by credit card for the local tour, but you have to pay in dollars 💵

You can choose to start in the morning or afternoon, but it was a good idea to start in the morning!

Meet at 8:00 in the morning.

*There are tours that will pick you up at your hotel, but the office was only a 3-minute walk away, so we met at the office.

The road to Kuang Si Falls is a gravel road, just as I had heard!

After being taken to the entrance by van, you have free time. We had plenty of time, about 2.5 to 3 hours.

Kuang Si Waterfall itself is like a park and is quite large◎

Lots of emerald green waterfalls! 💚

It was morning so there were few people and it was calm🩵

The area around the tallest waterfall was really beautiful with the morning light.

In the afternoon, the number of people increases and since this is a waterfall where you can swim, everyone seems to be diving in the waterfall and taking pictures, so it's very crowded.

I recommend going in the morning if possible🫶🏽
