🚕 Afternoon Tuk-Tuk Tour
* Paid $6 for the tour.
* Bamboo Train: $5
* Killing Caves + Bat Cave entry: $1
* Optional: Full-day tours are around $9.

🚂 Bamboo Train
* A 10 km round-trip ride (5 km each way) on old railway tracks.
* Simple wooden platform on wheels powered by a small engine.
* Fun and unique experience — highly recommended!
* Occasionally, you stop to let other bamboo trains pass.
* Paid: $5

🕳️ Killing Caves
* Site of tragic Khmer Rouge history (1975–1979).
* Estimated 2 million people killed across the country — 1/4 of the population at the time.
* Multiple caves:
* One for men
* Another for women and babies
* Bones displayed inside as a memorial.
* At the top of the hill: temples, monkeys, and scenic viewpoints.
* If you want to watch the bats later, start descending around 17:20.

🦇 Bat Cave – Sunset Experience
* Around 6.5 million bats fly out at sunset daily (starts ~17:50).
* A surreal, peaceful 30-minute natural show — unforgettable.
* One of the main reasons I visited Battambang.

* Took a morning bus to Phnom Penh after 1 night.
* Bus duration: ~5 hours
* Fare: $8 (found the cheapest ticket online)
