Yushan Park is located on the banks of Shajiabang and Yangcheng Lake. Its southeastern end extends into the historic and cultural city of Changshu, Jiangsu Province, and its southwest borders Shanghu Lake. The stunning scenery of lake and mountain complements each other beautifully, earning it the reputation of "seven streams flowing into the sea, and ten miles of green mountains halfway into the city." Tourist attractions include Baoyan Ecological Sightseeing Garden, Jianmen Gate, and Vimo Villa.

Yushan Park covers an area of ​​23 hectares and boasts a diverse flora, with over 7,000 trees belonging to 50 families and 109 species. Over 700 trees are over 15 meters tall and have a diameter at breast height of more than 20 cm. There are also 89 ancient and famous trees, including Podocarpus, juniper, maple poplar, and ginkgo.

To create a landmark nightscape for the central scenic area and enhance the city's character, a large musical fountain was added to Yingshan Lake in 2007. Its water column reaches a height of 30 meters, creating a spectacular display of various shapes in time with the music. At night, the greenery and the city wall lighting create a dazzling aura throughout the scenic area.
