Mount Norquay

#mytraveldiary

Mount Norquay is one of Banff’s most accessible mountains, offering stunning views, skiing in winter, summer sightseeing, and via ferrata climbing. It’s a lesser-known gem compared to Sulphur Mountain or Lake Louise, but very worth the visit — especially if you want to escape crowds.

Just 6 km (10 minutes) from downtown Banff.

Located on the northwest side of the Bow Valley, opposite Mount Rundle and Sulphur Mountain.

Access via Mt Norquay Road (just off Highway 1).
