Longevity Peak is located in the middle of the Yangkou Scenic Area. You can see it a little further up the mountain, past the Xiantao Rock. It's called "Shouzi Peak" because the steep cliffs halfway up the mountain are densely engraved with red characters for "Shou" in various scripts, including regular script, seal script, and official script.
The largest character for longevity is over 4 meters high. However, it seems that the view is not good if you walk along the mountain road, so you can't see it in its entirety. You have to take the cable car to see the whole thing. There are dozens of famous people from ancient and modern times writing longevity characters in various fonts on it. The middle one is particularly large, which is very spectacular.
Qingdao is located in the northern temperate monsoon region and has a temperate monsoon climate with humid air, abundant rainfall, moderate temperature and distinct four seasons.

Start with the lower trails to explore the temples and shrines, then hike upwards to the peak for the best views. You can loop back down via a different path to enjoy a variety of scenery.
Night visits are not typically available, as the peak is mainly a daytime attraction. No light shows or special tours are offered, but private tours can be arranged for a more tailored experience.
Shouzi Peak can get crowded on weekends and during holidays. The least crowded times are early in the morning on weekdays, particularly outside of peak tourist seasons.
Basic facilities include toilets and rest areas along the hiking routes. There are small shops selling snacks and drinks near the entrance and around the peak area.
The paths leading up the peak may be challenging for those with mobility issues. However, the lower areas and temples are more accessible for elderly visitors and children.
