Wehats Chamrun Throne Hall, Ayutthaya

#Chinese architecture #100 ways to travel "Phra Thinang Wehats Chamrun" is a two-story palace built in a beautiful Chinese art style. It was built by a group of Chinese merchants in Thailand and presented to His Majesty King Chulalongkorn in 1889. Inside the palace are three pavilions in a row. His Majesty King Chulalongkorn graciously ordered the construction of this palace in 1890 to enshrine a Buddha statue. Currently, His Majesty the King graciously ordered the royal merit-making ceremony to be held to pay homage to the Buddha tablet on Chinese New Year every year. #travel #Ayutthaya
