Temple of the Golden Reclining Buddha

Wat Pho (Temple of the Reclining Buddha), also known as Wat Phra Chetuphon, is located just behind the Temple of the Emerald Buddha and is a must-see for everyone visiting Bangkok for the first time. It's one of the city's greatest temple complexes, and it's known for its 46-meter-long gold-leaf-covered reclining Buddha.

It's a 10-minute walk from here to the Grand Palace, and we recommend visiting Wat Pho second since, while the golden Buddha is equally famous, many visitors don't take the time to explore the remainder of the complex, allowing for a more relaxed experience. A traditional Thai massage can also be obtained at Wat Pho. Never ever skip this awemazing place when you’re in Bangkok.
