Muzhaling, located in Checun Town, Song County, Luoyang City, Henan Province, is a national AAAA-level scenic spot. Located in the transition zone between the warm temperate zone and the northern subtropics, the Muzhaling pristine ecological tourism area is part of the Funiu Mountain National Nature Reserve. It was also the filming location for the film "Muzhaling."
A thousand-acre forest of ancient trees crowns the mountain; at its foot, cascading waterfalls and flowing springs create a serene, pearl-like pool. Yuhua Waterfall and Bailong Waterfall, like the mountains brimming with water, create a captivating contrast. Luban Ridge and Guanmao Peak tower majestically, offering a smile of greeting. Red birch forests and pristine ecological forests create a vibrant, lush sea of green. The waterfall-viewing pavilions and observation decks each offer a unique and elegant atmosphere.
"Spring, summer, autumn and winter are different in each season, and the four directions are full of vitality." This is the true portrayal of the Muzhaling primeval forest.
The entire Muzhaling area is divided into three major tourist areas: Jiuzhuanggou, the primeval forest, and Guanmao Peak. It boasts over 200 scenic spots, including Tianhe Waterfall, Bailongzhuang, Luban Ridge, and Guanmao Peak. Among them, the natural beauty of Guanmao, Tianhe Waterfall, ancient trees and secluded forests, the fascinating charm of magical rocks, flowing springs reflecting verdant scenery, a fairy-like mirror in the sea of clouds, moon-like shadows of pines and birches, and the tranquility of wooden buildings are collectively known as the "Eight Scenic Spots of Muzhaling," renowned throughout the Central Plains.
