Khaosan Road

Most overseas visitors to Bangkok are probably told at some point to go to Khaosan Road. This area is definitely touristy and contains more western style restaurants and bars. There are also many hawkers trying to sell custom-tailored suits or get tourists to try a Thai massage. We found that everything here was pretty overpriced and not as authentic as what we could find in other parts of the city.
