Introduction to Thai Silk

Jim Thompson was an American businessman who moved to Thailand and later introduced the world to Thai silk. He mysteriously disappeared in Malaysia in his 60s, but left behind an amazing legacy. The Jim Thompson House Museum preserves his story as well as his beautiful home and treasured antiques. The admission ticket comes with a tour of his home, and the gift shop includes many beautiful Jim Thompson Thai silk goods.
