Important Buddha statues in the National Museum

#VisitBangkok The National Museum, Bangkok, is organizing a special exhibition "Important Buddha statues in the National Museum" at the Siwamokhaphiman Hall, the National Museum, Bangkok. The exhibition will feature stories of the tradition of creating Buddha statues for worship, designing postures or postures with iconographic significance. A total of 81 Buddha statues have been selected, which are ancient Buddha statues with exceptionally beautiful Buddhist art in each school of craftsmanship. They are outstanding, reflecting religious beliefs and aesthetic beauty that differ from era to era, to show the development of Buddha statues in Thailand. This special exhibition will be held from June 9 to September 10, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Siwamokhaphiman Hall, the National Museum, Bangkok.
