Be amazed at the National Museum Bangkok

#MuseumVisit

Invite you to visit the National Museum of Bangkok, a place to collect rare valuables in Bangkok.

The National Museum of Bangkok is located on Na Phra That Road, at Sanam Luang, next to Thammasat University. Inside, it is divided into several buildings. When you buy a ticket, the staff will give you a map. There are antiques from each era on display, including royal items. Most of them are from the reign of King Rama V. It is quite interesting. There are items excavated in Thailand that are over 2,000 years old!! Walking around and reading, I gained a lot of knowledge. There is a royal carriage and royal vehicles used in royal cremation ceremonies. The staff explained very well. If you want to know more, you can ask the staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable.

The highlight of our visit today is to see the Golden Boy, a bronze sculpture of Shiva that is about 1,000 years old. It was previously illegally taken out of the country and Thailand just received it back from a museum in the United States.

I really want everyone to go see it. The ticket price is very cheap compared to what we saw and the knowledge we gained. We spent almost 3 hours walking around. Not all buildings are complete yet 😂

How to get there🚆: Get off at MRT Sanam Chai Station

Ticket price ✨️: Thai people 30 baht ✨️ Children/students/university students/aged 60 and over are exempt from the entrance fee
