A new shop worth trying in One Bangkok that tea lovers shouldn't miss. When Pla, the owner of TE Time and Space, a tea guru who makes internationally-famous tea and has a tea workshop that many people have studied and opened shops all over the city, she had fun opening a chic tea bar in the Sarapat Thai zone on the 3rd floor of the Parade building for us to try teas with each menu carefully designed to give each glass a unique taste and smell, as well as a chic workshop for us to try.
Starting with the menu, here there are both iced tea by the glass, hot tea and snacks to sit and eat. The cold menu is a new set menu designed specifically for this bar. I tried 'Manmok - Bangkok Fog', a milk tea mixed with Earl Grey, lavender scent, milk and whipped cheese before tossing with a small croissant on top. It was fragrant and very enjoyable to eat. For clear tea, I tried 'Noo Dao - NOO DAO', a base of green tea, pineapple flavor and sweet basil, with pineapple on top, very refreshing. There is also hot tea that you can choose the bend you like and the scent that the shop makes in a chic way, as usual. Until I planned to try them all gradually.
The workshops of this tea bar should please many people. Starting with the workshop that lets us practice blending our own tea until we get our own special tea recipe to take home, and the new workshop, TE Flight, that lets us gradually test the teas in order. In the first set, it is ‘Thai Teas of All Kinds, Tea X Good Tea 101’, which brings 4 types of tea from Chiang Rai Province, starting from each part for us to try, starting with 1-bud 1-leaf white tea, light and fragrant, followed by Jin Xuan Oolong Green Tea No. 12, which looks light but the taste is stronger than expected, Fire-roasted Oolong, harvested in the early rainy season, fragrant with a Chinese tea tone with a sweet finish, and ending with Mi Xiang Oolong, strong and fragrant. There will be special snacks from the shop, Sam, for us to try with the teas, some of which are very good.
Anyone who loves tea, come and visit ONE Bangkok. I highly recommend it. You can check in before anyone else and try tea that is definitely unique.
