Big Dipper Pine

Located at the northern end of the Wollongong Line, seven ancient pines, each with its own distinct shape and posture, form a giant spoon-like shape, hence the name "Big Dipper Pine." The reason these ancient pines grow so neatly on the massive rock on the mountain ridge is said to be that what exists in the sky also exists on earth. These terrestrial Big Dipper pines and the Big Dipper in the sky are the result of the mutual interaction between heaven and earth at the beginning of chaos.

Hegao Pavilion

It is located on the top of the main peak of Bodao Peak at 1404.2 meters. It is said that the pavilion was built by the maids who rushed stones to build it when the Queen Mother was traveling. Later, it was seized by military strategists of all dynasties as the main lookout. After several repairs, it was still a five-story, hexagonal, four-window and octagonal style until the end of the Qing Dynasty. There is also a couplet that reads "Pavilion on the peak, peak under the pavilion, pavilion and peak both stand among the peaks, the peak is majestic through the ages; the pavilion is majestic through the ages; mountain outside is water, water inside is mountain, mountains and water are all gathered in front of Gushan, the mountain is beautiful for ten thousand years, the water is beautiful for ten thousand years". It was demolished during the Cultural Revolution. It is now an antique round pavilion built by the scenic area in the late 1980s for tourists to climb up, overlook, rest and entertain, which is a unique sight.

Golden Toad Playing with Phoenix

About 150 meters below the Hegao Pavilion, there are 6 long, flat stones that are naturally stacked. They are shaped like a baby with its head facing north and its tail facing south. It is laughing with its mouth wide open. In front of the baby, there is an ancient pine tree with curved branches, thick trunks, overlapping green leaves and fan-shaped tips. It is like a colorful phoenix, spreading its wings and flying to the north.
