Bangkok | A hidden gem restaurant opposite Wat Arun, with great food and views

This small and beautiful restaurant was a chance discovery on Instagram. Thai Harper's Bazaar shot a Gucci campaign here, and many Thai influencers have posted photos of it. The restaurant is small, but the interior is retro and exquisite.
The restaurant's motto is "eat like a local" and the food is both beautiful and delicious.
📷: It's best to visit in the evening to watch the sunset or see Wat Arun lit up. We went during the day and the river was a bit dirty and not very photogenic.
🔺Restaurant name: Rongros
🔹After eating, you can walk to the Grand Palace, or take a boat from the nearby pier to Wat Arun, ICONSIAM, etc.
🖍Key points: The restaurant is open from 11 am to 3 pm, and 5 pm to 10 pm. We walked in and there was only one table left, and it wasn't a good one. It's best to book in advance, and arrive as soon as it opens so you can take photos before it gets busy.
