The Guan Yin Shrine on the Chao Phraya River is a place you should come and pay homage to!

Kian An Keng Shrine 建安宮 or Kuan Yin Shrine is an old and quiet shrine in the Kudi Chin community, located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. It is one of the oldest shrines in Thonburi, Bangkok, and is over a hundred years old.

Currently, photography and video are not allowed inside, so we only have pictures of the outside and the sacredness of the shrine, with the wood carvings of dragons and other beautiful figures.

Inside, there are amulets and incense sticks for sale.

And since it is a thousand-handed Kuan Yin, it is popular for worship to resolve bad luck and for those who believe in Kuan Yin.

🕰️ Opening hours: Every day from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

📍 Address: 230 Thetsaban Sai Road, Wat Kanlaya Subdistrict, Thon Buri District, Bangkok 10600
