🏡Wat Mai Amataros was built around 2321 B.E. in the Thonburi period. The name of the builder is unknown. It was originally called Wat Waramataram. In 2460 B.E., it was changed to Wat Amatayaros or Wat Amritayaros. In 2411–2413 B.E., it was renovated by Somdej Phra Buddhacarya (To Phrommaramsi).
🏕During the reign of King Rama V, he ordered the construction of a road through the middle of the temple, resulting in 2 temples: Wat Bang Khun Phrom Nok and Wat Bang Khun Phrom Nai (Wat Intharawihan). Wat Bang Khun Phrom Nok was changed to Wat Mai Amataros in 2460 B.E.

The important and interesting things in the temple are as follows:
🏠The Ubosot is in Thai style. Inside is the principal Buddha image in the Maravijaya attitude.
🛕The pagoda was renovated by Sian Traduang. Thanakoses family between 1860 - 1872.
