In the early morning light, I entered the Queen Sirikit Park, an oasis in the city surrounded by skyscrapers, yet it boasts a tranquil lake and meticulously designed sculpture garden. The Thai-style pavilions are reflected in the lake, with pigeons occasionally skimming the surface, creating ripples. I strolled along the stone paths, admiring the sculptures by Thai artists, each imbued with unique cultural significance.
In the afternoon, I visited one of Bangkok's most spiritual landmarks—the Erawan Shrine. This small shrine, located in the bustling city center, is always filled with the scent of incense and throngs of devotees. With hands clasped, I sincerely prayed to the Four-Faced Buddha, immersing myself in Bangkok's unique spiritual atmosphere. As the sun set, the golden statue was bathed in the twilight glow, adding a sense of sanctity and peace to the land.
