✨️Watchanasongkhram was originally called Wat Klang Na. This morning, 1 appointed Phra Man to be the caretaker, so people in general called it Wat Tong Pu in Mon.

✨️When Somdet Krom Phra Rajawang Bowon Maha Sura Singhanat led his army back to the capital after winning the Nine Armies War, he ordered the temple to be renovated. King Rama I named it Watchanasongkhram.

✨️The ordination hall was created by craftsmen of the Front Palace school. The principal Buddha image is Phra Phuttha Narasi Trilok Chet. The porch behind the principal Buddha image contains the ashes of the children of the five reigns of the Krom Phra Rajawang Bowon.

✨️Many people come to pay homage to this temple because its name is very auspicious.

The temple has parking for a fee.
