Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan

Wat Ratchanatdaram Worawihan is located in the heart of Phra Nakhon district, near Phan Fah Bridge and the Democracy Monument in Bangkok. This temple holds significant importance and is classified as a royal monastery.
Upon arrival, you will encounter the Lan Jesada Bodin, a square featuring the monument of King Rama III situated in front of the temple. It is recommended to pay respects to King Rama III first. Inside the temple, you should start by worshiping the principal Buddha image housed within the main ordination hall (Ubosot), followed by visiting other key spots.
The highlight of this temple is the Metal Castle (Loha Prasat), which is stunningly beautiful and one of the few of its kind in the world. At the top, there is a sacred relic of the Buddha, and visitors can enjoy panoramic views of Bangkok from this vantage point.
Transportation: You can take a bus or a boat along the Saen Saep Canal, alighting at Phan Fah Bridge station, and then walk approximately 200 meters to reach the temple.
