Wat Ratchanadda, Loha Prasat

Wat Ratchanaddaram Worawihan is an ancient temple in the heart of Bangkok, located near Ratchadamnoen Road and Mahachai Road. The temple was built during the reign of King Rama III to honor his grandson. The temple is very important in terms of history and art.

The most outstanding feature of Wat Ratchanaddaram is the “Loha Prasat”, a building made entirely of metal. It has 7 floors and 37 spires. These spires represent Buddhist teachings. Inside the Loha Prasat, there is a spiral staircase that allows you to walk up to see the view of Bangkok from the top. It is a very beautiful and special viewpoint because this building is rare in Thailand and the world.

In addition to the Loha Prasat, Wat Ratchanaddaram also has beautiful ancient sites and Thai art, such as the ordination hall and the ordination hall that are decorated intricately. This temple is also a peaceful place, suitable for making merit, praying, or relaxing in a quiet atmosphere in the middle of a big city.

If you are visiting Bangkok, Wat Ratchanaddaram is a very interesting place because you can see the beauty of Thai art and learn about Thai history at the same time. It is also convenient to travel to and is close to other tourist attractions such as Wat Phra Kaew and Sanam Luang.
