The first night of my early May trip to Thailand was spent at the Park Hyatt Hotel in Bangkok.
The location is very good, close to Central Embassy shopping mall and BTS Ploenchit station. It has 222 luxury rooms, including 32 top-tier suites, featuring many artworks including art installations by Japanese artist Hirotoshi Sawada from Sawada Studio.
Because I wanted to use $200 from Amex, I booked a basic room this time.
The room rate was $28x, using Amex's FHR plan to deduct $200, plus a $100 dining credit ❤️
The Hyatt group is really great, upgrading to a suite early on.
The boss said switching from the Ritz to here was totally worth it 😂
Upon arrival (around 16:30), since the room was not ready yet, I first went to The Bar for a welcome drink.
While waiting, I took the chance to use the $100 credit to have a bite 😂
The Bar has a nice environment, with indoor and outdoor dining areas, and a good view, so many people come here to dine.
The food selection is quite rich, and the taste is pretty good.
After about an hour, the room was ready, so I went in for the unboxing 🥳
This stay was in a Park Hyatt suite, featuring a king-size bed, a separate living room (with a desk), a guest toilet, and a bathroom (using Le Labo® skincare products), with a total area of 68 to 80 square meters.
The overall space feels very spacious and high-quality.
Even the flowers in the room are real.
The turndown service at night was impressive, with the ice bucket fully replenished 👍
In the evening, I went to the Penthouse bar for a drink, and there was a live band—such an amazing atmosphere 😊
