My recent vacation in Bangkok with friends was made extra memorable thanks to our stay at SO/ Bangkok, Silom. This stylish hotel masterfully blends nature-inspired design with modern luxury, creating a unique and uplifting atmosphere from the moment you arrive.
One of the standout features was the stunning 10th-floor infinity pool — perched high above the city, we swam, sipped refreshing drinks, and lounged while soaking in breathtaking panoramic views of Lumphini Park and the Bangkok skyline. Truly a picture-perfect setting!
My room offered an incredible view of Lumphini Park, which made for the ideal motivation for morning runs. The king-size bed was truly comfortable, every detail in the room, from its elegant furniture to the warm earthy tones, is thoughtfully designed to create a calming, rejuvenating experience.
Staying active was a pleasure thanks to the hotel's well-equipped SO/ Fit gym, which is open 24 hours and includes sauna facilities for a soothing post- workout experience.
Breakfast was another highlight. The buffet spread was indulgent, especially the Angus Breakfast Steak and Pan-Seared Salmon, all savored while soaking in serene skyline views in an elegant setting.
The hotel’s location is equally impressive — just a 3-minute walk to Lumphini MRT station, and within walking distance to One Bangkok mall and the well-known Northeast Thai Restaurant. Whether we were exploring, eating, or just relaxing, everything was at our fingertips.
