If anyone has ever felt that "Bangkok is so chaotic, I want a place to relax my mind,"
I highly recommend this place – Chula 100 Years Park, a small public park with a great atmosphere, located in the heart of Sam Yan-Banthat Thong.
This is the green space of Chulalongkorn University, open for everyone to use for free.
It’s a shady, peaceful, and clean park, very well organized, with zones including a lawn, walking area, exercise area, and a small pond 🌳
⸻
🍃 The atmosphere is so calming like “sitting here makes your mind peaceful”
• The paths in the park are flat and very easy to walk on, with both regular walkways and wooden slatted paths
• There is a pond zone in the middle of the park with a “rest pavilion” by the water (perfect spot if you want to sit and read!)
• Tall trees line the entire path, with cool breezes blowing continuously, no need for air conditioning at all
• If you come in the evening, you’ll see people exercising, some running, some walking, and some bringing their dogs to play 🐶
⸻
🌼 The chill vibe here is…
• You can just sit and look at the sky or lay a mat and lie under the trees
• No noisy sounds, no car horns, it feels like a 100% mental break
• Great photo spots, especially beautiful when shooting against the light in the evening
• Not crowded, not too many people, with a light sense of privacy
⸻
📍 Location & How to Get There
• Located on Banthat Thong Road (same side as the National Stadium)
• Near Sam Yan Mitrtown, about a 5–10 minute walk through from the Sam Yan MRT side
• Open daily from morning until evening, free admission
