📞Hello Hello, please respond if you hear me
✨️Wat Phra Sri Rattana Satsadaram, or Wat Phra Kaew, is a royal temple established by King Rama I to enshrine the Phra Buddha Maha Mani Rattana Patimakorn, or the Emerald Buddha. It is also used as a place for the king to perform royal ceremonies according to ancient royal traditions.
✨️A special feature is that it is a temple with only the Buddhist sanctuary area, meaning no monks reside there, similar to Wat Mahathat in the royal palace during the Sukhothai period and Wat Phra Si Sanphet in the royal palace during the Ayutthaya period.
✨️There are 12 pavilions on the south and north sides of the ubosot for the public to sit and listen to sermons or for students to recite chants on important occasions.
✨️The principal Emerald Buddha is a statue carved from jadeite jade, green like an emerald. It is a Buddha image in the pre-Chiang Saen to Chiang Saen art style.
