An Izakaya that feels like being in Japan - Ebisu

Ebisu Shiten – BTS Phra Khanong
A favorite Japanese spot I visit often. The warm atmosphere makes you feel like you've stepped into a drinking district in Japan. The place isn’t very big but is nicely decorated and very friendly. Perfect for dining alone or chilling with friends after work.
My favorite and almost always ordered dish is the Salmon Rice Porridge – the broth is fragrant and clean, the rice soft and smooth, so delicious that even after finishing the bowl, you want more.
Another must-try dish is the Grilled Beef Tongue with Ponzu Sauce – it’s incredibly flavorful. The beef tongue is tender, springy, and has a smoky grilled aroma. Paired with the tangy and salty ponzu sauce, it perfectly cuts through the richness. So enjoyable to chew, you don’t want the plate to end.
Another thing I like is the drinks promotion at 55 baht, available during certain hours. The price is light but the taste is great, perfect for those who want to sip something cold after work.
The restaurant is close to BTS Phra Khanong, just a few steps away, making it a regular spot for lonely days, tired days, or just when you want to eat something delicious without much thought.
