Wachirathan Waterfall | Wachirathan Waterfall

Wachirathan Waterfall is another large and beautiful waterfall in Doi Inthanon National Park. Originally named "Tad Kong Yong Waterfall," it was later renamed after His Majesty King Rama X, when he was still the Crown Prince.

The water that flows down below year-round originates from the Mae Klang Stream, which originates at the summit of Doi Inthanon. It flows over a cliff approximately 80 meters high. During clear skies, sunlight reflects off the mist, creating a wide rainbow across the waterfall.

Opposite is a steep cliff called "Pha Mon Kaew" or "Pha Waen Kaew." A wooden bridge extends to the front of the waterfall, offering a close-up view of the cool mist. Alternatively, you can climb to the top and gaze down for a different kind of beauty. The waterfall area is lush and green with large trees.

⏰️ Opening Hours: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM (daily)
