Cruise along the canal lifestyle… at Bang Luang Canal

A relaxing day escaping the hustle and bustle of Bangkok, heading to “Bang Luang Canal,”
an old neighborhood full of charm with a community canal lifestyle and contemporary art.

We started the trip with a canal boat ride, 300 baht per person, taking about 45 minutes.
The boat gently meanders along the old canal, passing ancient wooden houses, old temples,
and observing the simple, traditional way of life of the locals.

Along the way, the boatman shares entertaining stories about the area's history, various temples, and important spots along the canal.
The atmosphere on both sides of the canal is peaceful, shady, and filled with the scent of the old days.

When the boat docks, we took a stroll at the “Bang Luang Artist House,” admiring handmade crafts and traditional Thai art.
There’s also a small café to sip coffee and enjoy the riverside view in a chill setting.

Bang Luang Canal is not just a tourist spot but a place that beautifully preserves the “spirit of being Thai.”
And cruising is the best way to absorb this simple yet charming lifestyle.
