Rung Ruang Noodle, Nang Loeng Market, chewy and soft noodles

If you come to Nang Loeng Market and don’t stop by Rung Ruang Noodle, you’re missing out! This shop is one of the legends of the Nang Loeng area, having been open for decades. It’s located on Nakhon Sawan Road, near the Nang Loeng Theater. Passing by the shop, you’ll see it packed with customers almost all the time.

Once inside, the first thing that catches your eye is the wall full of award plaques and reviews from famous media, showing it’s definitely not ordinary.

The menu we tried includes:
🥢 Braised duck noodles – the duck is tender and fragrant, with a rich and balanced broth
🥢 Crispy pork noodles – the crispy pork lives up to its name, crispy on the outside, tender inside, with just the right salty flavor, not dry or tough
But the highlight is the noodles made in-house, thin and chewy like homemade noodles. Just the noodles alone win your heart.

The price is reasonable, and you get the authentic taste that’s rare to find in Bangkok these days. Most importantly, no MSG is added. If you love traditional delicious food, you have to try it at least once.
