Chasing Sunrises at Wat Arun – Bangkok’s Temple of Dawn

Wat Arun, or the Temple of Dawn, is one of Bangkok’s most iconic landmarks—and for good reason. Located on the west bank of the Chao Phraya River, this stunning riverside temple is best visited in the early morning or at sunset when the light hits its intricate porcelain mosaics just right.

The central prang (tower) rises impressively and offers a panoramic view of the city if you're up for the steep climb. The craftsmanship is remarkable, with colorful ceramic tiles and seashells forming elaborate patterns that shimmer in the sun.

Getting there is easy via river ferry, which adds to the charm. It’s less crowded than the Grand Palace and feels more serene. Modest dress is required, and a small entrance fee is worth every baht.

A must-visit for lovers of architecture, history, and Thai culture. #thailandtrip
