Maweiyi Folk Culture Village is located in Lijiaopo Village, Mawei Office, Xingping, Xianyang, Shaanxi Province. It is one kilometer west of the Huangshan Palace Scenic Area, the tomb of Yang Guifei. It is built based on the unique historical resources of Huangshan Palace, perfectly combining modern life with historical culture, and creating a beautiful landscape for Mawei.
Legend has it that Mawei was originally named after a military officer during the Eastern Jin Dynasty, who built a city there. During the Tang Dynasty, Mawei Posthouse was the first post station for those traveling westward. The Folk Culture Village is located within the original site, boasting quaint buildings and numerous shops. Arriving here, you'll be instantly captivated by the ancient cultural atmosphere, as if you've traveled back to the Tang Dynasty over a thousand years ago.
