Great spot in Banthat Thong area

Got super hungry after work, so I went out to find something to eat. Today, I’m in the “Banthat Thong” area, known for delicious food and famous must-try spots. Let’s start with savory dishes first.
1. Pa Khao Restaurant – a famous eatery that I had the chance to try today. The wait wasn’t too long, about 40 minutes. Their signature dishes are:
• Strawberry papaya salad – perfectly sweet and sour
• Isan sausage
• Grilled pork neck – tender and tasty, though a bit too sweet for my taste. Overall, very delicious. Prices start at 100++ baht per dish.

After the savory dishes, I moved on to dessert. Just a little walk across the street, you’ll find
2. Mae Duan – a dessert/Thai sweets shop with many options like Khanom Thuai, Khanom Tan, and black beans. Today, I chose:
• Mango sticky rice – the mango was super sweet and delicious, perfectly paired with the sweet and salty sticky rice. So happy!

After feeling full, it’s time to walk it off a bit. Strolling around, I found other spots like:
• Nueng Nom Nua
• Je Ow
• Yolk
If you can still eat more, go ahead! As for me, I’m done for now. I’ll definitely come back to try more next time.
