Mokutkasatthiyaram Ratchaworawihan Temple

#Temple Bangkok
- Mokutkasatthiyaram Ratchaworawihan Temple was built under the royal initiative of King Rama IV after the excavation of the Phadung Krung Kasem Canal as the outer moat of the city. The king graciously ordered temples to be lined along the canal, similar to those in Ayutthaya. He therefore commanded the construction of this temple alongside Sommanat Ratchaworawihan Temple. The king appointed Somdet Chaophraya Borommahathrisuriyawong (Chuang Bunnag) as the chief of construction and Prince Krom Khun Ratchasiha Vikrom as the engineer. The construction was completed in 1868.
