【Bangkok】Phed Mark Pork Rice

Phed Mark is a Thai-style pork rice restaurant owned by a local influencer. It's a two-minute walk from BTS Ekkamai Exit 2 and features a striking exterior with a distinctive flame logo that looks incredibly spicy.

Order at the counter and then find a seat, which is managed by staff. The restaurant spans two floors. Besides pork, the menu also includes chicken, sausage, beef, wagyu beef, shank, and squid. All dishes can be adjusted for spiciness, ranging from mild to spicy; spicy, extra spicy (signature), and very spicy. I ordered one pork dish and one chicken dish, both extra spicy (signature). I can handle spicy food, so I decided to try the signature setting. My first bite was okay, but it got spicier and spicier, until I ordered more drinks. Each dish comes with a poached egg. Despite the overly spicy portion, both the pork and chicken were well-cooked, with a rich, savory flavor. Overall, it was quite good.

Price: Pork and chicken tat pao are both THB 139.
