The Golden Mount is a temple located on a man-made hill in the heart of Bangkok. A 344-step spiral staircase leads to the top of the golden pagoda, which houses the relics of the Lord Buddha. It offers a stunning viewpoint of the old city and is also the site of the Loi Krathong festival, featuring a procession of cloth wrapped around the pagoda.
