🪷WAT Saket | Wat Saket (Phu Khao Thong) 🪷

🏵Wat Saket Ratcha Wora Maha Wihan is a famous temple in Bangkok. Its unique feature is a large mountain in the center of the temple. There is Phu Khao Thong on top, or Phra Borommathat. It was built during the Ayutthaya period, but King Rama I ordered the temple to be renovated. The top of Phu Khao Thong allows tourists to walk up to the top of the mountain and see a 360-degree view of Bangkok. It is very beautiful. 🦚

🌺Inside the temple, there are important Buddha images: Phra Attharos Sri Sukta Thotsapol Yanabophit, Phra Phuttha Mongkhon Chinsin Wachiramuni, Luang Pho To, Luang Pho Dam, and a replica cave with a replica of the Bamiyan Buddha from Afghanistan. 💐

‼️Recommendations During the day, it is very hot. You should bring an umbrella. Do not wear shorts to the top of the mountain. There is a shop that rents shorts downstairs for 50 baht each.
