Nai Uan Yen Ta Fo at Sao Chingcha — A Michelin-starred Yen Ta Fo legend in the heart of the city
🍜 Restaurant History
• This restaurant has been open for over 50 years, passing down the Yen Ta Fo recipe from the grandfather to the third generation. Having received the Michelin Guide award for four consecutive years, it's no wonder it remains so popular.
• The name "Nai Uan" came from customers who saw the grandfather at this restaurant and called him "Nai Uan." The name stuck, becoming a well-known brand to this day.
🍜 Recommended Menus & Flavors
• Yen Ta Fo Ba Teng (Soup/Dry): Surprise with the flavorful Ba Teng toppings. The Yen Ta Fo sauce is rich, sweet, sour, and spicy, perfectly balanced. You hardly need to add any additional seasoning.
• Dry Red Pork Ba Teng Noodles: Soft and chewy noodles. The roast pork is meaty and delicious.
• Fried Shrimp Balls + Crispy Wontons: The fried shrimp balls are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, earning full marks from many reviews. The crispy wontons add a nice texture, making it even more delicious.
• Soup: Many people say the soup is "super rich and flavorful." And the best part is that it's already prepared in the bowl, so you hardly need to add any more seasoning!
✨Atmosphere & Directions
• The restaurant is located on Soi Nawa, Sao Chingcha area, near important landmarks. However, parking is quite difficult. We recommend taking the BTS or MRT for more convenient access.
• Open Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–8:00 PM, Saturday–Sunday, 9:30 AM–4:30 PM. Closed the last Sunday of the month.
“Nai Uan Yen Ta Fo Sao Chingcha is the ultimate Yen Ta Fo legend. Rich flavor, delicious sauce, and generous toppings, with rich and flavorful ba-teng. The fried shrimp balls are the best. So delicious you won't need to add any seasoning. If you're looking for Michelin-quality Yen Ta Fo for a few tens or hundreds of baht, you have to try this!
