📞Hello Hello, I hear you and will respond.

Wat Suthat Thepwararam was built between 1807 and 1808 during the reign of King Rama I.

It was originally named "Wat Maha Sutthawat." Later, King Rama I commissioned the construction of a viharn (wihan) to house the Phra Sri Sakyamuni (Phra To), a Buddha image created during the Phra Ruang Dynasty of the Sukhothai period and brought from the royal viharn of Wat Mahathat in Sukhothai Province.

The viharn is surrounded by a gallery, demonstrating the great importance placed on the viharn.
