📞Hello Hello, I heard and answered.
Let's take you to see the prominent Phra Wihan of Wat Suthat in the middle of the capital.
This temple has a gallery surrounding it. King Rama I ordered it to be modeled after Wat Phanan Choeng in Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Province and invited the Buddha image from Wat Mahathat in Sukhothai Province to be enshrined in the temple.
This Buddha image is the largest bronze Buddha image at that time. Therefore, this temple is called Wat Luang Pho To.
In the reign of King Rama III, he recast the face because when it was enshrined on a high base, it looked disproportionate. He also cut the ends of the hands to be even according to the Buddha's characteristics. He gave it the name Phra Sri Sakyamuni.
In the reign of King Rama IV, he gave it a new name, Wat Suthat Thepwararam.
This temple has many important things. The carved wooden door panels by King Rama II, the most beautiful mural paintings in Rattanakosin, under the celestial cloth base of Phra Sri Sakyamuni, there are the royal ashes of King Rama VIII, behind the base of the Buddha, there is a stone slab carved in the Dvaravati art style, the Mayak Patiharn posture and the Sermon posture, which is the only one in the world.
