Review of Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok

This trip, we went for a staycation at Chatrium Hotel Riverside Bangkok and stayed in the Grand Suite 1 Bedroom Riverview.

- Upon entering, we were greeted by a spacious living room equipped with a large sofa set, TV, dining table, and a small kitchen complete with cooking utensils. It truly felt like home. The minibar was complimentary, which was a nice touch. Adjacent to the living room was a large balcony offering stunning views and a relaxing atmosphere. The river view was breathtaking at any time of the day.

- The bedroom featured floor-to-ceiling glass windows, allowing us to enjoy the spectacular view right from the bed. The bed was large and extremely comfortable, with soft and smooth bedding. The bathroom was conveniently located within the bedroom area, complete with a counter, sink, and various amenities. The bathtub was spacious with strong water pressure, but unfortunately, there was no bidet provided.

- The swimming pool was moderately sized. The architecture of the hotel was unique, with beautiful sculptures scattered throughout, adding charm to the ambiance. Watching the sunset from the balcony was a delightful experience, perfect for unwinding and enjoying the moment.

- For dinner, we opted for a 3-course meal, which could be pre-selected during check-in. The portions were generous, but the food was slightly cold and took quite a while to be served. Thankfully, the room had a microwave, so we could reheat the dishes, which made them more enjoyable. The meal was supposed to include two mocktails, but the staff initially brought only one—a mango soda topped with lychee, which was sweet and tangy, and quite refreshing. The second drink arrived almost half an hour later. Additionally, the cutlery provided was incomplete.

- Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, but unfortunately, there was no egg benedict, my favorite dish, which slightly affected my overall impression.

Overall, the experience was excellent. I particularly loved the cozy and homely atmosphere of the accommodation.
