From teacher to student ✨Mother Earth✨

"From Teacher to Disciple: Mother Earth" Exhibition by Preecha Thaothong and Napat Kangwannarakul

Preecha Thaothong, a National Artist, uses light and shadow as an artistic language, conveying the tranquility, depth, and spirituality of Thailand. His work reflects religious and cultural dimensions, blending Eastern concepts with modernity. Preecha's paintings often incorporate Thai architecture, traditions, and cultural structures into contemporary images that clearly retain their Thai roots.

Meanwhile, Napat Kangwannarakul, a new-generation artist who uses hand-cut paper as her primary medium, conveys beauty through fragility, delicacy, and power. Her works often explore fear, belief, and the darkness of the human heart, transforming them into artistic beauty.

For this exhibition, the two artists interpret Mother Earth not merely as a mythical goddess, but as a symbol of the four elements (earth, water, air, and fire) that together create the universe and life. They convey this meaning through acrylic paint, papercutting, and installation, integrating ancient wisdom with new perspectives in today's world.

Explore art inspired by ancient wisdom told through faith. Embrace contemporary interpretations with contemporary art that reflect the power of creativity, both knowledge and worldviews, through intergenerational artwork at the exhibition "From Teacher to Student: Phra Mae Thorani."
