Mappy Concept Store & Café @ Siam Center
Walk to the 2nd floor of Siam Center and you'll find a new store called Mappy, offering a shopping and café experience filled with character concepts. Perfect for those who love color, IP characters, or are looking for something new to change up their lives.
This store is a collaboration between several IP/character fan companies, such as Tech Toys, Euphoria Twenty Three, and Baan Chokdee Bear. The store features rotating themes based on famous characters, an exclusive merchandise zone, photo corners decorated to match the theme, and an in-store cafe. You can browse, take photos, and enjoy themed snacks and drinks without having to split into multiple stores.
The first store's theme is Momorei x Mappy from Korea, featuring four characters: Rico (the fashionista rabbit), Pinco (the shy, fluffy bear), Moco (the supportive puppy), and Shuco (the mischievous blue cat). The store's decor is adorable, with bright colors and warm tones, and there are plenty of photo spots. The kind of place where you want to walk around and explore every corner, grab props or merchandise, and take photos with the character-matching background.
The cafe's menu is designed to fit the theme, with specialty desserts and drinks designed to match the characters of the moment. It's not just a simple menu. They're creative in combining flavors, presentation, and colors with patterns or themes to create a harmonious experience.
The overall atmosphere is relaxed and fun, perfect for character fans, photographers, and collectors. Upon entering, you'll find plenty of photo opportunities, enjoy browsing the products, and if you need a break, enjoy a coffee or a snack in the shop. It feels more like a library for fan art or character lovers than a general merchandise store.
A point to be aware of is that exclusive/special-themed items may be more expensive than regular themed items. If you're looking for something high-quality or rare, they may sell out quickly. Also, if you visit during peak hours, you may have to wait in line to enter the shop or take photos, as many people love to take and share photos.
