Enjoy a 5-course fine dining menu from 👨🍳Chef Josh Raine, with experience from a 3-Michelin-starred kitchen in England, at Siam Kempinski Hotel Bangkok's specialty restaurant "The Addition" on the 1st floor.

This meal was a mix of fine ingredients combined with the culture, flavors, and culinary techniques of Australia, Japan, France, and England, as illustrated in the image. The chef's experience and expertise were perfectly captured. Combined with the atmosphere and service of a luxury hotel, this made for a truly special meal! 👏🏼

🐠 "Halibut" - even though I don't like fish, I managed to finish it all. It was marinated in a tea and wasabi concoction. The fish was fresh and bouncy. Every bite was fragrant and delicious. Enjoy it like sashimi, fully experiencing the herb aroma.

Or try the 🫖 "Foie gras Dashi Soup with Mushrooms." It was just as good, with a clear, rich, and well-balanced flavor. The aroma of the soup complemented the foie gras, creating a texture similar to the Shirako fish served at an Omakase in Japan.

The other course was equally delicious: 🍋 "Cod + zucchini seasoned with lemon myrtle braisage."

The main course, 🥩 "Australian Wagyu Beef," was also well-executed, with a slight softness and a full texture. The sourdough bread mixed with seaweed was also unique and unlike anything else I've ever tasted. I usually love beef, and since I eat it regularly, it wasn't that impressive.

And finally, the 🍨 "Eucalyptus White Chocolate Ice Cream." This was my first experience with Wattle Seed, a native Australian grain that's mixed in.
