[Bangkok, Thailand] Make Me Mango, a stylish shop in a back alley with a view of Wat Arun

After touring Wat Pho, I was able to see Wat Arun from an alleyway across the Chao Phraya River.

Tucked into one of these quaint backstreets was a shop serving desserts and dishes made with mangoes.

It was called Make Me Mango.

A peek at the menu outside the shop revealed a lineup of delicious mango-infused dishes.

Opening the wooden door and entering the shop, I was immediately greeted by the ordering counter.

After placing my order, I was given a seat number and led up a narrow staircase to the second floor to my assigned seat.

After a while, my eponymous dish, Make Me Mango, was brought to me.

It was a luxurious meal consisting of mango sticky rice, fresh mango, homemade ice cream, and panna cotta.

The fresh mango sticky rice combined the sweetness of the coconut-cooked rice with the refreshing sweetness of the fresh mango, and was delicious, complementing the coconut sauce that was added on top.

The homemade ice cream and panna cotta were, of course, mango-flavored, and both were subtly sweet, allowing you to really taste the mango.

The shop had a great atmosphere, and many customers, including couples and women, were seen relaxing and enjoying their mangoes.

A cool, delicious mango dessert was the perfect way to soothe aching muscles after touring Wat Pho.
