The Standard Hotel, Bangkok Mahanakhon

The King Power Mahanakhon, Bangkok Marriott Hotel is located inside the King Power Mahanakhon building, the second tallest building in Thailand.

This time, I booked the Premier Penthouse, the hotel's top-of-the-line and largest room. I've been wanting to stay here for a long time because I love the unique décor.

The room is perfectly proportioned, and there's a kitchen that's fully equipped with Gaggenau cookware. What I particularly like is the hotel's serious investment in the in-room sound system. This room uses high-end speakers like the Devialet Phantom II 95 dB and B&O Beosound Stage, which provide excellent sound quality.

The central hall is truly spacious, with enough room for a dining table for six. Even if you're having a party with friends, there's still plenty of room to spare.

The bedroom is spacious, with a large closet and a delightful city view.

The bathroom is divided into two rooms, but one minor complaint is that the bathtub in this room is quite small and doesn't have a jacuzzi like the standard suite I previously stayed in.
