🌤 Ta Tien (Ta Tien)
📍 Phra Nakhon District, Bangkok
🪷 Wat Arun Ratchawararam (Wat Arun), a famous Tha Tien landmark, is located "across" from Tha Tien. For a full view of Wat Arun, we recommend heading to the opposite side, where you'll find numerous restaurants and cafes.
⚓️ Horsamut (Horsamut)
A Thai restaurant located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, overlooking Wat Arun. The atmosphere is great, offering delicious seafood-focused Thai cuisine with a modern twist. The restaurant's decor is beautiful and modern. The staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable (about 1,200 baht for two people). We tried the Chakram salad, a rare vegetable dish that was incredibly delicious and still retained its spiciness.
🍧 Before Sunset
An ice cream shop located on the banks of the Chao Phraya River, opposite Wat Arun. The shop has two floors, with air conditioning, perfect for enjoying Wat Arun views. The ice cream is delicious, with a Thai twist. The atmosphere is wonderful. You can sit here all day long.
🍨 After Sunrise
This cafe is located right at the entrance before Before Sunset. It's probably owned by the same owner. You can see Wat Pho through the windows.
🚢 How to get there:
1. Wat Arun: Get off at Wat Arun Pier.
2. If you want to get to the opposite side of Wat Arun:
• Take a ferry to Tha Tien.
• Take the Chao Phraya Express Boat to Tha Chang or Rajini Pier.
• If you're taking the subway, get off at Sanam Chai MRT Station.
